I work as a Counsellor for the NHS in primary care (through Counsellors South West CIC) and in private practice in Calstock, east Cornwall. I am also a trained mindfulness teacher, have a yoga practice and for many years have practiced mindfulness and meditation. I have worked as a therapist since 2007. I have also engaged in my own psychotherapy for over 20 years, and know this to be essential if offering the work. Outside of work, you’ll find me bird watching, canoeing, walking and cooking.

  • I have also worked at a management level in charities and government, most recently a charity providing training to social workers nationally.
  • I have worked for many years with clients who experience anxiety, depression, chronic stress, who are self-harming or thinking about suicide, have addictions, are diagnosed with dissociative disorders, complex developmental trauma, post traumatic stress disorder, clients who have experienced childhood abuse and neglect, or who are grieving or experiencing complex grief.
